WE WOMEN
With our kind gentle ways, and a smile on our face
We women, will change the world.
With effervescent commitment, yet little resentment
We women, will change the world.
Though our backs may be tired,
we still somehow rise up
We women, will change the world.
Though we seldom get credit, no matter who says it
We women, will change the world.
So we just keep on going, at work and at home and
We women, will change the world.
When there's problems at home,
it ain't right in our soul 'til
We women, will change the world.
And we put ourselves last,
'til those problems have passed
We women, will change the world.
Yes, we just cannot rest, 'til the world's at its best so
We women, will change the world.
Through the anguish and pain,
that our womanhood brings
We women, will change the world.
And we know humor and laughter, cures any disaster
We women, will change the world.
And our dreams and our goals,
are entrenched in our souls
We women, will change the world.
And our daughters we'll teach,
as we practice and preach
We women, will change the world.
And tomorrow, we say, will outshine today . . .
We women, will change the world.
With the courage & sanity,
to have birthed God's humanity
We women, will change the world.
And with temperance of mind, and the wisdom of time
We women, will change the world.
Yes, God gave us humility, yet every ability so
We women,
yes us,
we women
will change the world!
